Joined Pintrest after much protest, as I really like outside and don't want to be glued to my computer ALL the time. I've made one page so far, called Classy but Sexy. No side boobs, slits every inch, or tight enough to pop out a body part. I'll be adding time to time on what inspires me, so what do you think?
June Ambrose, celebrity fashion stylist for every major music peformer from Jay Z to Alicia Keys, has created her own shoe line for theme shoes premiering TODAY MArch 22 at 11 am EST/11pm EST on HSN. Ms. Ambrose is following the popularity of Carol's Daughter products, a best selling hair and skincare line by Lisa Price. Being the shoe connisour, I have been waiting with breath that is baited to order some of her stylish shoes. On Instagram and Twitter (@juneambrose), she has been previewing the designs to her followers for the past two months. In an interview she gave with Daisy Llewellyn of Cocoa Fab TV, Ms. Ambrose stated she was thinking of her over 40,000 followers and wanted to give us high fashion for an affordable price points between $59 - $129. The shoes have been on presale on HSN.com for about 2 weeks and I picked up two pairs to see if the shoes lived up to their hype.

This sassy strappy peep toe pump could be the perfect spring shoe to kick off an Easter ensemble and be on trend with this spring's pastel focus. Online, the shoe appeared to be mint green with gold accents. The approx. 4-1/4"H stilletto was low enough to wear for long periods. When I received the shoe, the trim was rose gold shade. The only leather on the shoe was around the ankle in a suede beige strap. Once I tried the shoe on, I was very disappointed in the contruction of the shoe. The crisscross straps had no elastic to make the strap come closer to the top of the foot for a streamlined look, and had an overall plastic-like construction ddn't warrrant its $109.99 pricetag. To my disappointment, these shoes are being returned.
The shoe inspired by my Saggitarius sister Tina Turner was ever bit as sassy and fun as the legend it was named after. I couldn't wait to get my feet into this fun shoe and it did not dissapoint. The blue suede shoe fit like a glove, with no dye from the blue suede transferred to my feet (sign of quality suede). The approx. 4-1/4"H self-covered heel was extremely comfortable and I could stand for long periods of time, but I did feel it was closer to a 5" heel with how high the arch/pitch felt. The entire footbed was very well padded. Most importantly, I received tons of compliments when I wore them to a friend's birthday party recently. These $99.99 party shoes will remain in my closet.
Toesies: Essie - Mint Candy Apple
I'm torn on whether to purchase any more pairs of June Ambrose for theme's shoe collection. There are two pairs I'd consider (Eden and Grace), but wedges covered in fabric are not completely durable for the lifestyle I have. Shoe sizes range from 5-1/2,6 to 10,11 Medium; 6-1/2,7 to 10,11 Wide. If you are eager to see what else this fashion doyenne has designed and can't wait until 11 am EST, check out her full selection anytime at HSN.com.
